John Duns Scotus

c. 1266–1308 · franciscan · Franciscan; lectured on the Sentences at Oxford, Cambridge and Paris c. 1300–05

Located but not yet a witness. Scotus's Ordinatio I d.17 is staged at length by Capreolus (see the acceptance-without-charity crux) but is not itself on this edition, since the via rule forbids citing an author through the man who reports him. The openly available print (Vivès vol. X) has a column-splicing OCR that cannot be read by search; a cleaner 1598 Scriptum Oxoniense print has been located but not yet read. See notes/ACQUISITION-LEDGER.md.
